About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who uses LosAngeles10 (losangeles10.com). By using the site, you accept them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
What the site is
LosAngeles10 is an informational guide to local businesses in Los Angeles. It does not sell the products or services of the businesses it lists and does not take bookings on their behalf. Any agreement you make with a business is between you and that business, and the business alone is responsible for what it offers.
How the rankings are made
Rankings are based on the public information businesses show on Google Maps, mainly their average rating and number of reviews, which are weighed together. Businesses with too little public information or very few reviews are left out. Apart from the clearly marked Top places, a paid plan never changes a business's position. The method is described in full on our Sources and methodology page.
Accuracy and changes
We check and update listings periodically, but businesses can change their hours, prices, services and details at any time, and public information can be incomplete or out of date. We cannot guarantee that every detail is correct at the moment you read it, so please confirm anything important, such as opening hours, prices and availability, directly with the business. We may change, reorder or remove listings and pages at any time.
Business listings and the business area
Businesses can ask to correct their details, claim their listing and add more information through the For businesses page. Anyone who claims a listing must be authorized to act for that business, and everything they submit must be accurate and lawful. Edits are reviewed before they appear, and we may refuse or remove content that is incorrect, misleading or inappropriate. Paid plans (Pro and Top) and what they include are described on the For businesses page.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal purposes and for ordinary business purposes. You may not copy or extract large parts of it in bulk, for example with scrapers or bots, interfere with its security or operation, submit false information, impersonate a business or another person, or use the site for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
The texts, rankings, selection and design of LosAngeles10 are protected and may not be reproduced in bulk without permission. Short quotations that mention LosAngeles10 are welcome. Business names, logos and photos belong to their respective owners, and map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is, for information. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on its content, for the products, services or conduct of the businesses listed, or for temporary interruptions of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded, such as consumer protection laws.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and if you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
