8. Croissants Du Tokyo
Information and Reviews
- I actually went in this place hoping to try pastries they showed on the menu which are posted on photo gallery - heart as no Matcha pan or muffin, no Krone with matcha custard, no Honey Roast Nuts stuffed with chocolate, no Rhubarb Danish & the Brioche Bread were not available either. The lady I spoke with at the counter said those are put out during xmas time, so patience is a virtue, looking forward to it. On a positive note; I did buy the pastries on pics, great with tea or late. Pastries were semi sweet on the palate (were perfect) as well as the savory croissants for lunch. I found my fav to be the chocolate stuffed croissant Tomorrow morning going for a few more . The apple pie croissant was ok. Will try the peach croissant next time. Other than that, I was still happy with what I picked - the stuffed chocolate is a must with equal ratio chocolate to croissant. Staff is wonderful and place is beautiful filled with a variety of goodies for special occasion too. Impressed!
- So many yummy options!! Also when you walk into tokyo central market, turn to your right and walking til you get to the end. Loved the croissants, the curry pan(loved the crispy bits but messy lol) and my friend said the wagyu beef pie and cappuccino muffin was really good. I did get there at almost opening and was hoping to try the matcha croissant or some other ones i've seen posted but they didn't have them, so be aware that some may be seasonal or maybe made at certain times? Having said that, still come! Everything I've had here has been delicious!
- I ordered the peach pie (which is flaky like a croissant) and an iced coffee. They are very friendly. The peach pie was not overly sweet, which I liked. It made the flavor of the peach stand out the most. The dough was also really good. Edit: went back and tried the green tea milk. It's a blended green tea drink with milk. It's SO GOOD!
- Absolutely beautiful sweet and savory pastries! You can grab anything here and it's bound to be fantastic. Their pastries are delicate and sturdy....light and fluffy and crisp and also chewy and meaty and glorious
